Story
Muthuvel Pandian, a retired police officer, leads a seemingly peaceful life in Chennai with his devoted family. His wife, Vijaya "Viji," son ACP Arjun, daughter-in-law Swetha, and grandson Rithvik create a close-knit unit. Arjun, following in his father's footsteps, is on the trail of the notorious gangster Varman, who orchestrates the theft and smuggling of precious idols abroad. As Arjun inches closer to uncovering Varman's criminal empire, his confrontation with Varman's henchman, Seenu, reaches a boiling point. Faced with the threat of dire consequences, Seenu is pushed to a tense standoff with Arjun.
Just when Arjun's relentless pursuit appears to be paying off, tragedy strikes. Arjun goes missing, leaving the police department to announce that he may have taken his own life. The heartbreak is compounded for Muthuvel, who mourns the loss of his son and grapples with self-blame for instilling honesty and courage in Arjun. The grief-stricken father embarks on a path of vengeance, targeting Seenu and brutally ending his life. With the assistance of Vimal, a local taxi driver, Muthuvel disposes of Seenu's body, driven by a mixture of anger and sorrow.
